A Tribute to all women who were involved in World War 2 from whatever colour, whatever culture, whatever creed. Whether as Nurses, Famous Pin-up's, Spies, in the W.A.A.F's, Wren's, Land Army, ordinary women who helped as much as they could on the Home-Front or endured the cruelness of war. This group is also a Memorial to those women who were abused in the war, whether in prisoner of war camps, concentration camps, forced prostitution, rape or executed by their captors. It's a tribute to all the women involved, who fought for our freedom in their own ways, for those who died trying and women from both sides of the conflict who suffered in many different, horrific ways due to the war. No side was completely innocent, each side did terrible things to the other so this page is for British, German, American, Canadian, French, Korean, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Australian, Indian, African and all the other nations where women were involved. Each country suffered in their own way and I think we should remember that fact. This is in NO way a Pro-Nazi or Pro ANYTHING page this is a Memorial page to the women who were involved in extraordinary circumstances, in unimaginable times! So please look at the photos and read the short biographies under the pictures of some of the women featured in the group. I want this group to show the hope, courage and faith of these women who lived through what must have seemed like Armageddon to them at the time. This is their (Facebook) Memorial page! LINK
